      • Product Description: Comparative drawing of St Peter's and the Pantheon, Rome, the Radcliff Library, Oxford and Soane's Rotunda at the Bank of England, 1814, Charles Tyrell. This visionary image of buildings, which all combine poetry with 'constructional solidity', was the final illustration of Lecture X11, given by Soane at the Royal Academy in his role as Professor of Architecture. It cleverly shows four domed buildings alternately in section and elevation. © Sir John Soane's Museum 2012
