Variations on the Corinthian Order

This drawing shows a number of intersected columns which illustrate variations within the Corinthian order, the most ornate of the three classical orders. Belonging to Sir John Soane's collection of Royal Academy Lecture Drawings, an image such as this would have certainly been a useful resource for young architects in training.
