Three Columns Cork Model

Sir John Soane's impressive Model Room has been re-opened to the public. They are among the most beautiful objects in the collections of Sir John Soane''s Museum and are cork model reconstructions of antique, classical buildings and monuments. The cork models that have been produced by Dieter Collen are three-dimensional study objects for connoisseurs of art and architecture, just as they were in the olden times that saw the beginnings of phelloplasty. They enable the daily confrontation with old temple ruins, with pyramids and many other historical buildings of architectural significance all over the world.
