Soane Museum South Drawing Room Pop Up Card

This pop up card allows you to build your own room from the Soane Museum. This pop up paper room scene of the South Drawing Room was the Soane's principle reception room with three large windows commanding a fie view of Lincoln's Inn Fields. In contrast to much of the museum, it's a domestic space and notable for the striking decorative scheme of 'Turners Patent Yellow' walls, matching yellow taffeta curtains with crimson trimmings and busy Brussels carpet. The room is sparsely furnished, after the fashion of the day, and hung with family portraits. It was the principle rooms for entertaining and Mrs Soane held music recitals here.
