A Rake Divided Silk Scarf
Regular price $47.00
Perfect for framing or as a fashion accessory, our Rake Divided Silk Scarf is a beautiful and unique piece of art and fashion.
Inspired by William Hogarth's The Rake's Progress, the series of eight paintings was created in 1734 and tells the story of Tom Rakewell, a young man who follows a path of vice and self destruction after inheriting a fortune from his miserly father, finally ending up deranged and penniless in Bedlam, after his failure to establish himself in society.
The Rake Divided was designed by Sue Timney who has worked in Britain, Europe and Japan for over 30 years creating interior projects celebrating her own brand of exotic classicism under the TIMNEY FOWLER and SUE_TIMNEY banners.
