Aged 15-18 years old and a budding architect or artist? Then this is the workshop for you.
This afternoon workshop aims to give you more experience and confidence in making drawings of detailed interiors and architectural features of buildings. Using the collection at Sir John Soane’s Museum, you’ll discover different ways to develop your drawing skills and learn to look at buildings from the point of view of an artist or architect.
Course tutor: Benedict O’Looney. An expert in his field, Benedict runs his own architectural practice, Benedict O’Looney Architects. His projects have included the extension and completion of the Peckham Mosque and the restoration of the Victorian Peckham Rye Station. Benedict has taught at The Architectural Association, The University of Kent and New York University.
The event takes place on Wednesday 30th May from 1-5pm and is for individuals aged 15-18 years old.
