As recommended by Shortlist Magazine, this Limited Edition print was produced in conjunction with the current exhibition Peace Breaks Out! Adam Dant is a Jerwood Drawing Prize winner famed for his modern Hogarthian style. Inspired by the French caricatures of the British arrival in Paris in 1814, contained within the exhibition, Adam collaborated with French artist Jean-Baptiste Marot to produce a print celebrating some of the modern stereotypes held by each country. Adam produced the map or France and Jean-Baptiste the map of the UK. Hand tinted lithograph printed in an edition of 100 on 300 GSM Saunders Waterford HP 30" x 22".
Signed, numbered and had tinted in the 19th century fashion by the artists.
