Clove Soane Soap

Handmade in Britain soap with our new Soane Toile du Jouy design by Dozmary on the wrapper. Clove soap arrives in a green design with a matching ribbon.

This quality soap is handmade in North Devon by a small family business. It is vegan, produced without animal testing and is made out of natural, ethically sourced ingredients. The scents were selected with reference to contemporary Georgian ingredients which would have been commonplace within the Soane household at the time. Each soap is carefully wrapped in our exquisite Soane Toile du Jouy paper which comes in various colours to match each scent. The colours make reference to many iconic aspects of Sir John Soane's Museum: the red and brown are both sourced from the original stucco fragment which Soane collected at Herculaneum, the yellow is based on the Drawing Room’s famous Turner Yellow walls, and the green matches the front door of number 13 Lincoln’s Inn Fields which forms the entrance to the Museum.

All soap includes Sodium Olivate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Palmate.

Green Clove includes Aqua Glycerin, Eugenia Caryophyllus.
